Help Shape the Future of Transportation in Our Region

Cape Fear Navigating Change 2050 is the Wilmington region’s draft Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP)–a 25-year strategy that outlines future transportation priorities and investments. Developed by the Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WMPO), this federally required plan guides how local, state, and federal transportation dollars are spent in the region. Once adopted, it will replace the current MTP, Cape Fear Moving Forward 2045, which will expire in November 2025.
