The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WMPO) announces the Call for Projects for FY26-FY30. This cycle represents the inaugural call under the WMPO’s recently adopted Locally Administered Projects Program (LAPP). Key changes include a transition to a biennial call, the programming of funds across five federal fiscal years, new application templates, and a streamlined digital application submission via Smartsheet.

Join WMPO staff for an informational pre-submittal meeting on July 16 at 8:30 a.m. to learn more about the Call for Projects. The meeting will be held at the WMPO office (525 N. 4th St), but a virtual attendance option is available.

Important dates for the Call for Projects:

• Pre-submittal meeting: July 16, 2025 at 8:30 a.m.
• Pre-application submittal deadline: August 15, 2025
• Final application submittal deadline: September 19, 2025
